Fans might be thinking about the big game and which players and strategy each team will come out with. For example, will the Chiefs look to pass the ball more? Or will the Eagles run the ball? How will one stop the other? But truth be told, coaches and experts will be looking to the skies.

The weather has become a very influential part of Super Bowl preparation for the teams that will play and for the event organizers. For teams, it could mean a different strategy if it rains or if it’s cold or warm. It can give someone an advantage. For organizers, it has to do with preparations for the halftime show or for how they take care of the field and have it the optimal way possible.

What will the weather be like for Super Bowl 57 against the Chiefs and the Eagles?

The Phoenix area is forecast to reach a high of around 80 degrees on Sunday. However, it could rain in the evening, with chances hovering around 40% and temperatures dropping to approximately 50 degrees.

Which team does the weather benefit?

A nice clear day will benefit both teams; that goes without saying. However, with the off chance that it may rain, the Eagles might benefit more from this than the Chiefs. Philadelphia has a running game that is superior to that of Kansas. They can slide and glide faster and easier with a bit of rain. Mahomes’ game is based a lot on his ability to run around the pocket and clearly see where he is throwing the ball; with a bit of rain, he might struggle to find teammates.
