Groundhog Day is here, and once again, Tom Brady has retired from professional football. Like last year, the Bucs QB says he is done with football and wants to focus on the next chapter of his life. As we could expect, there have been copious amounts of messages for Tom wishing him the best and noting how they will miss him in the coming years.

But perhaps the most notable message of support for the Californian native came from his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. The businesswoman and model took the time from her day to send a quick Instagram comment on Tom’s post about his retirement.

What did Gisele Bündchen comment on Tom Brady’s post about his retirement?

The Brazilian was very quick and only spared a few words for his ex-husband of more than a decade.

“Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life.” She wrote on Brady’s retirement post on Instagram.

Rumors of a possible rekindling of their relationship have surfaced, but it’s a bit premature to jump to that conclusion, to say the least. Moreover, a simple comment on Brady’s post could be inferred as cold and that maybe the couple is not on a regular speaking basis.

Her comment suggests that the ex-Patriots QB did not let her ex know about his plans and what he wanted to do after the season ended.

Why did Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen break up?

Speculation over the breakup has been talked about quite a lot. The rumors suggest that Gisele expected the QB to be done with football. However, her dreams of this happening were shattered as soon as she found out that Brady would come out of retirement and play for one more season.

After one year, Tom could be asking himself if it was all worth it.
