What did Hassan Haskins do to Dane Jackson? Will he be punished for it?

Titans’ Hassan Haskins has sparked confusion and rage after what he did to Bills’ Dane Jackson.

Buffalo Bills cornerback Dane Jackson was released from the hospital on Tuesday morning after evaluating the scary neck injury he sustained during the Bills-Titans game on Monday night.

Jackson, who underwent X-rays and a CT scan before he was released, is resting at home and will be week-by-week.

What happened to Dane Jackson?

Just before halftime in the Bills’ 41-7 victory over Tennessee, Jackson and Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds inadvertently ran into each other while making a tackle on Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks. In an extreme manner, Jackson’s head was bent backward as his helmet collided with Edmunds’s.

And while everyone’s attention was on Jackson’s safety, it took a second for the football world to realize what Titans running back Hassan Haskins did to DJ at the moment.

What did Hassan Hadkins do to DJ?

Haskins attempted to roll Jackson off his teammate while he lay flat, “in a move that is inexplicable, inexcusable, and bordering on criminal, pushed Jackson over, breaking the cardinal rule in neck injuries: never move the casualty,” as our own Jeffrey May put it.

And while it seemed quite clear that Haskins had no idea of the severity of Jackson’s collision, the social media world is confused about Haskins’ move.

Whether Haskins will be punished for action is yet to be considered, but the 22-year-old surely owes an apology to the Bills’ DB.
