COWBOYS
What injury does Cowboys’ Eric Kendricks have?
Ahead of their Week 6 game against the Detroit Lions, the Cowboys are dealing with tons of defensive injuries and added one more on Wednesday.
The last thing the Cowboys need is another injury added to their long list of injuries on defense. They are currently dealing with injuries to: LB Micah Parsons (ankle), LB Nick Vigil (foot), DE Marshawn Kneeland (knee), CB DaRon Bland (foot), and DE DeMarcus Lawrence (foot), all with varying degrees of severity and missed time.
They will face a challenging Detroit Lions offense this Sunday, so seeing another name pop up on that list this week is pretty discouraging.

Eric Kendricks added to Cowboys’ long list of injuries
But the list keeps growing longer, and linebacker Eric Kendricks has now been added to it. He sat out of Wednesday’s practice with not one, but two injuries. Kendricks is dealing with both a shoulder and calf injury.
Kendricks played a huge role in the Cowboys’ win over the Steelers last week with a team-leading 10 tackles (four solo). He leads the team with 52 tackles (24 solo), including two sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble. For comparison, DeMarvion Overshown is second on the team with 38 tackles. So if Kendricks sits out, it’s a pretty big loss.
There are two more practices before the Cowboys face the Lions this Sunday, so Kendricks will be one to monitor until then. The Lions’ run game is led by rushers Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, both running backs who rank in the Top 20 in rushing, so Dallas is going to need all the help they can get to stop them.
The Cowboys will face the Detroit Lions on Sunday, October 13 with a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff from AT&T Stadium and AS USA will be bringing you all the action with our live text coverage and commentary of the game, brought to you by yours truly.
