Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson will return to the NFL gridiron for the first time after 700 days when his team faces the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium on Sunday.

The 27-year-old QB was suspended 11 games and fined $5 million after violating NFL conduct policies when he was sued by 24 women for sexual harassment while he was still a member of the Texans.

During the first four years of his career, Watson played 54 regular season games with Houston, starting 53 of them. His record as QB1 is 28-25. The 2018 season, his first as the Houston team’s starter, was the best of Watson’s career. The quarterback guided his team to 11 wins and the AFC South crown.

The Gainesville, Georgia native has accumulated 14,539 yards with 104 touchdown passes and 36 interceptions on 1,186 of his 1,748 attempted career passes.

Deshaun Watson’s postseason record

Watson has only played in three playoff games during his short career. In 2018, the Texans were eliminated by the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round by a score of 21-7 and he completed 29 of 49 Throwing for 235 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

In 2019, the Clemson graduate beat the Buffalo Bills in the first round, but was eliminated by the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round. In all, he had 635 yards, three touchdown passes and no interceptions, but was sacked 11 times in the two games.
