What NFL teams have a bye in week 7?
For most teams, preparations are well underway ahead of big games this coming weekend, but some have more time on their hands.
Can you believe we’re already six weeks into the season? It’s been an interesting one so far, that’s for sure, and it’s unlikely to give up anytime soon. Week 7 gets going on Thursday Night Football with the Denver Broncos heading down to New Orleans to face the Saints, and closes up with two Monday games as the Buccaneers welcome the Baltimore Ravens to Tampa Bay and the Cardinals go up against the Chargers.
There is, of course, plenty in between for us to enjoy, and when I say us, that includes two sets of players and coaching staff who have a rest weekend.
The NFL teams on a bye in Week 7
It’s the Chicago Bears and the Dallas Cowboys who sit out Week 7 of the 2024 season, teams that had very contrasting results in Week 6.
The Bears won convincingly at the Jaguars 35-16, and meet the Commanders next, while the Cowboys were thumped 47-9 by the Lions and have a tasty encounter with the 49ers to look forward to in Week 8.
