It’s been three weeks straight of having to make fantasy moves to replace our bye week players, but this week, we finally get a break.

The NFL bye weeks began in Week 5 and since then, fantasy football managers have had to scramble to replace players in their lineup who were on bye over the last three weeks. Well, I‘m happy to tell you that in Week 8, we’ll get a break from that.

Which NFL teams have a bye in Week 8?

No NFL teams are on a bye week in Week 8 of the 2024 season. All 32 teams will play this week, starting with the Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night.

Last week, there were only two teams on bye, the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys, but even with only two, there were significant players out for fantasy managers.

When is the next NFL bye week and which teams are on it?

It‘s a short-lived break from the byes as the next one will be in Week 9, when the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers take their bye week. From then, things just get more tricky as there won’t be another break in the bye weeks until Week 13. Plus, Weeks 12 and 14 will have six teams on their bye week.
