When was the last time the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl?

The Kansas City Chiefs are living one of their best moments since the team was founded, They found a way to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII with a stellar perfomance from MVP QB Patrick Mahomes.

The Chiefs made it the postseason for the 8th straight year and have won their third Super Bowl.

Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was undoubtedly the key player that led the team against the Philadelphia Eagles, Super Bowl LVII took place on Sunday, Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The Chiefs’ previous Super Bowl wins

The Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023 by a score of 38-35 with a field goal with 11 seconds remaining. The Eagles didn’t have enough time to get back to the Chief’s side of the field and the hail mary pass thrown by Jalen Hurts was incomplete giving the team from Kansas City their third Super Bowl victory.

Before their 2023 victory, the last time they had won a Super Bowl was when they defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 at Hard Rock Stadium back in 2020.

Mahomes then led the Chiefs to 21 straight points in the final 6:13 minutes to put an end to a two-decade wait for an NFL title for coach Andy Reid and 50 years without the title for the team.

Kansas City won their first Super Bowl by beating Minnesota in 1970 at Tulane Stadium.
