Lions playoff appearance streak stopped
2023 and 2024 were historic ones for Detroit sport as the Lions won a playoff game for the first time in 32 years. It had been 30 years since Motor City hosted a post-season match and Detroit star Eminem was in attendance to watch a hard-fought victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
The Lions underachieved in 2025. Detroit fans expected a lot from Jared Goff and company, but Dan Campbell’s guys didn’t get it done and finished the season with a 9-8 record, which wasn’t good enough to make it to the playoffs.
