Which teams have already qualified for the 2024-25 NFL playoffs?
The race to reach the NFL postseason is heating up and the teams that are risking everything as dreams of the Super Bowl linger.
The race for the 2024-2025 NFL postseason is reaching a boiling point, with the first playoff berths being secured and other teams fighting for their chance to extend their season.
So far, only four teams have clinched playoff spots—two as division champions and two through the Wild Card round, though the latter still have a chance to secure their division titles.
AFC Playoff Teams
The first teams to secure postseason berths in the American Football Conference are:
Buffalo Bills: Crowned champions of the AFC East with a few weeks left to play, they are now vying for the top seed in the conference.
Kansas City Chiefs: After defeating the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14, they claimed the AFC West title and are also in contention for the No. 1 seed.
NFC Playoff Teams
In the National Football Conference, the first teams to punch their tickets to the playoffs are:
Detroit Lions: They defeated the Green Bay Packers at the start of Week 14 to secure a Wild Card spot. They still have every chance to claim the NFC North title, though the Minnesota Vikings remain in the mix.
Philadelphia Eagles: By climbing to the top of the NFC East, they secured at least a Wild Card berth for now, with division supremacy still on the line.
