NFL fans are experiencing the best time of the year with the start of the 2024-25 postseason, the last teams to secure a place in the playoffs were defined in Week 18’s matchups. The full playoff picture is now decided.

The AFC playoffs are as follows:

Who are the favorites to win Super Bowl LIX?

Prior to the start of the Wild Card Round, the favorites to take home the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy are already beginning to emerge. For now, the Detroit Lions have taken the lead in the bookmakers' picks, according to the Draft Kings' lines with a line of +300 (although according to FanDuel they remain with a line of +300, but still in first place). Next are the defending champions Kansas City Chiefs who could achieve an unprecedented three-peat championship win with a line of +350; and in third place are the Baltimore Ravens who had a great close to the NFL season who are at +600.

When is the Wild Card round?

The Wild Card round will run across the weekend of January 11-13, with six games played across Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Beyond that first round, the remaining fixtures will be played across the following weekends. The Chiefs and the Lions will enter the fray for the Divisional round on the weekend of January 18-19, the Conference championships will be contested on Sunday January 26 and the Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, February 9.
