New York Jets running back Nick Bawden and his wife, Alexis Elizabeth, exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony at the Thomas Fogerty Winery in Woodside, California last summer.

Following the news that the Jets were going to cut Nick from the roster to make way for the recovering from long term injury Aaron Rodgers, his angry wife replied to a TikTok post claiming that the player would be “back on the team tomorrow”.

Many Jets fans were bewildered with the move give that Rodgers is still some way off from full fitness and being able to play for the team.

The Jets who are 5-9 for the season so far face the Washington Commanders at MetLife Stadium with Alexis Bawden’s comments coming to fruition as the New York side re-signed Bawden to the practice squad on Friday after originally releasing the player on Wednesday.
