Patrick Taylor Jr‘s time in the NFL, which is still an incredibly short career, has been a whirlwind time at the top.

The 26-year-old, who got his first touchdown for the 49ers against the Bears in Week 14, started out at the Memphis Tigers before the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers came calling; he then made the move to the Green Bay Packers where he kicked on at the elite level.

The Texas-born running back soon found a new home with the Red and Gold in San Francisco, and is now set to see his chance come calling during a time of turmoil for the side.

Patrick Taylor Jr: stats & salary

It has been, simply put, a shocking season for the 49ers. Rock bottom of the NFC West, the side are 6-8 this season and sit behind the Cardinals, Rams and Seahawks in what has been a season to forget.

The RB signed a one-year, $1,055,000 deal with the 49ers back in April, meaning he will enter free agency in the 2025 season, giving him an incredibly short window to prove his worth for the side.

Taylor Jr’s record this season is as follows:
