Who is performing at the Cowboys-Chiefs Thanksgiving halftime show?
The Cowboys play their annual Thanksgiving game this Thursday against the Chiefs, and as usual, there will be a special musical performance at halftime.

The Dallas Cowboys and Thanksgiving go together like turkey and mashed potatoes. They’ve played every year on the holiday since 1966 (with two exceptions in 1975 and ‘77). And in 1997, they started the tradition of having a dedicated halftime show, beginning with Reba McEntire. It’s since become an annual tradition to raise money for The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign.
From artists like Jessica Simpson, the Jonas Brothers and Dolly Parton, the Cowboys are always sure to have a halftime show to remember. Dallas tends to select country artists or artists from Texas or the South, but performers have varied widely, including pop, hip-hop, and rock artists, with recent acts demonstrating this range.
This year’s performer just happens to also be a huge, die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan himself.
Post Malone to headline Cowboys-Chiefs Thanksgiving Day halftime show
The Cowboys recently announced that Post Malone will perform at halftime during their Thanksgiving Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs this evening at AT&T Stadium.
The performance is part of The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff, marking the start of the organization’s annual holiday fundraiser.

Post Malone, a North Texas native, shared a promotional video on social media featuring himself and the Cowboys mascot, Rowdy. The 15-minute halftime show continues a tradition of high-profile performers, following recent appearances by Lainey Wilson, Dolly Parton, and Luke Combs.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. local time), and the game will air on CBS Texas and stream on Paramount+.
Will Taylor Swift be at the Cowboys-Chiefs game?
Since the Cowboys play the Chiefs on Thanksgiving this year, there is the possibility that Taylor Swift could attend the game to cheer on her fiancé, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. She has attended all his home games this season, and although this one is away, it’s Thanksgiving, so there’s a chance she want to spend it with him.
Jerry Jones promises Taylor Swift an “elaborate seat” at the Cowboys-Chiefs game
That’s got many fans speculating if she would potentially get on stage with Post Malone to sing Fortnight.
I wouldn’t count on it. She’s publicly said she wouldn’t perform the Super Bowl halftime because she is “too locked in” on what Kelce is doing during the season.
It’s safe to assume the same would go for the Thanksgiving halftime, but you never know. Swift does like to surprise her fans. Still, Swifties will be happy just to get a glimpse of her in Jerry Jones’ “elaborate seat”.
