SUPER BOWL 2024

Who is singing ‘America the Beautiful’ in the Super Bowl 2024?

Super Bowl XVIII promises to showcase an exciting matchup between the 49ers and the Chiefs, but also great performances during the pre-match and halftime show.

The countdown has begun for one of the most awaited weekends in the US. Another edition of the Super Bowl is about to take place, with the excitement it causes.

The 49ers and the Chiefs will go head-to-head at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, a repetition of the 2019 Super Bowl that Andy Reid’s side ended up winning.

While San Francisco and Kansas City will put on a show in what is expected to be an intense battle between the two best teams of the season, the pre-match and halftime show are expected to be highly entertaining.

As it is widely known, the Super Bowl is never just about the match. Fans tune in for the game, but also for the commercials and a variety of high-profile musical performances.

Who will sing ‘America the Beautiful’ at Super Bowl XVIII?

Country music icon and The Voice coach, Reba McEntire, will sing the national anthem ahead of the clash in what will be one of the most emotional moments of the event, while Usher will headline the halftime show.

But who will be in charge of signing America the Beautiful? Earlier this month, the NFL announced that Post Malone would be the chosen one to perform it.

The Syracuse-bred talent started paving the way to stardom in 2015, earning his first Grammy nominations in 2019. Since then, he has been nominated for 10 Grammys.

Besides that, the 28-year-old artist, who is also a songwriter, record producer, and actor, has won several awards, including at the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and MTV Music Video Awards.

Some of Malone’s first hits were Sunflower from Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, and his album Hollywood’s Bleeding. Psycho, White Iverson, and Better Now are some of his other biggest successes.
