Tragedy in the Minnesota Vikings, where the 24 year-old cornerback died on Friday in a car accident.

Khyree Jackson, who was killed in a car crash in Temple Hills, Maryland on the evening of Friday, July 5, was a cornerback who had been picked by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

The 24 year-old from Upper Marlboro, Maryland was at Oregon in the 2023 season, where he was named First Team All Pac-12 for his performances.

The Vikings released a statement in the aftermath of Jackson’s death:
