Why has Tyreek Hill been arrested?
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was arrested for a traffic incident a few blocks from the stadium.
The NFL is back, and with it a minor scare for the Miami Dolphins just hours before their season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars as wide reciever Tyreek Hill was arrested following an incident outside Hard Rock Stadium.
Hill was arriving at the facility when an officer stopped him for a traffic violation, however the 30-year-old has since been released and will be on the field this Sunday, the Dolphins confirmed.

“This morning, WR Tyreek Hill was stopped for a traffic incident a block from the stadium and briefly detained by police. He has since been released. Several teammates witnessed the incident and stopped to offer support. Tyreek and all other players involved arrived safely at the stadium and will be available for today’s game,” the Dolphins’ statement on their ‘X’ account said.
