Why is there no Manningcast broadcast for the Cowboys at Chargers NFL week 6 game?

ESPN2 will simulcast ESPN Deportes’ Monday Night Football broadcast in Week 6 due to a planned break for the Payton and Eli Manning show.

ESPN introduced “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” as an alternative broadcast in 2021. The show quickly became popular and became a cult phenomenon, even mentioned on “Saturday Night Live.” It also inspired other non-traditional broadcasts from ESPN and its competitors.

While guests on the broadcast provide insightful commentary, Eli and Peyton’s charisma and expertise make them the show’s true stars. The dynamic between the two brothers and their ability to break down plays in an engaging and informative manner captivates the audience. It is clear that their chemistry is strong, and they bring a level of entertainment that guests cannot match. The broadcast relies heavily on Eli and Peyton to keep the audience engaged and entertained.

The ManningCast is officially returned for the 2023 season for the third year in a row. Eli and Peyton Manning once again host an alternate broadcast of Monday Night Football on ESPN2. They will provide game analysis and engage in conversations with special guests.

As for the show’s broadcast schedule, the ManningCast will return for seven more games during the 2023 season.

  • Week 7: 49ers vs. Vikings (10/23)
  • Week 9: Chargers vs. Jets (11/6)
  • Week 10: Broncos vs. Bills (11/13)
  • Week 11: Eagles vs. Chiefs (11/20)
  • Week 13: Bengals vs. Jaguars (12/4)
  • Week 15: Chiefs vs. Patriots (12/18)
  • Wild Card Weekend: TBD vs. TBD (1/15)

ESPN has announced that ESPN2 will be simulcasting the Spanish-language broadcast of “Mony Night Football.” This means viewers will have the option to watch the game in Spanish. Rebeca Landa and Sergio Dipp will comment on the Spanish-language broadcast, with Katia Castorena positioned on the sidelines and John Sutcliffe providing on-site reports. With this broadcasting decision, ESPN gives its viewers more options to enjoy the game.

The simulcast concludes ESPN’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
