Why isn’t Aaron Rodgers on ESPN’s Pat McAfee show anymore?

Pat McAfee announced on Wednesday that Aaron Rodgers would no longer appear on his NFL show for the remainder of the season as a consequence of his comments regarding Jimmy Kimmel. “So ‘Aaron Rodgers Tuesday,’ Season 4 is done,” McAfee told his audience at the start of Wednesday’s show.

“There will be a lot of people that will be happy with that” McAfee added, “myself included, to be honest. With the way it ended, it got real loud. I’m happy that that is not going to be my mentions going forward, which is great news.”

Rodgers said Kimmel would appear on Epstein documents

The New York Jets quarterback was a regular on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, but controversial comments about the popular TV host has caused him to be dropped. Rodgers said last week that Kimmel’s name would appear on documents linking him to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

Rodgers said that “there’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who’s really hoping that [list] doesn’t come out,” referring to the subsequently released court documents that included the names of over 150 people mentioned in legal proceedings related to Epstein. The NFL quarter-back also added that he would “definitely be popping some sort of bottle” when the list did come out.

CNN confirmed the decision, saying that the decision to drop Rodgers “was due to his recent behavior, not the conclusion of the regular NFL season.”

What did Jimmy Kimmel say about Aaron Rodgers’ comments?

The TV personality, who has hosted his talk show since 2003 and previously threatened to sue Rodgers, said in an almost seven-minute long opening monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live!: “And then [the list] did come out, and, of course, my name isn’t on it. ... I don’t know Jeffrey Epstein, I’ve never met Jeffrey Epstein, I’m not on a list, I wasn’t on a plane or an island or anything ever.

“A lot of delusional people honestly believe I am meeting up with Tom Hanks and Oprah at Shakey’s once a week to eat pizza and drink the blood of children”.

“Either he actually believes my name was going to be on Epstein’s list, which is insane, or the more likely scenario is he doesn’t actually believe that; he just said it because he’s mad at me for making fun of his topknot and his lies about being vaccinated”.

“When I do get something wrong, which happens on rare occasions. you know what I do? I apologize for it, which is what Aaron Rodgers should do, which is what a decent person would do, but I bet he won’t,” Kimmel concluded.
