Why isn’t Kamari Lassiter playing for the Texans against the Patriots? NFL Week 6 injury status
The Texans take on the Patriots in Week 6 of the NFL season. Here’s the full list of injured, doubtful and questionable players for each side.
Looking on the bright side, the injuries suffered by both teams ahead of the NFL clash between the Texans and the Patriots means that interesting changes will have to be made by the two coaches on the touchline.
The match at Gillette Stadium will see the Patriots look to get up and running for real, putting a pin in their terrible 1-4 record and gain some momentum in a season that hasn’t got going as of yet.
As for the Texans, they are on the opposite side of the coin, and will be aiming to extend a fantastic 4-1 record so far this season and add to smiles of the fans who have been impressed with the work done so far on the grass - despite being outscored 114-102.
However, what makes this tie especially intriguing is that fact that Houston have not won a game in New England in seven attempts.
Houston Texans latest injury update:
Houston are set to go into the tie without the trio of cornerback Kamari Lassiter (shoudler), safety Jimmie Ward (groin) and wide receiver Robert Woods (foot).
They also have three players questionable - running back Joe Mixon, defensive end Derek Barnett and defensive tackle Kurt Hinish.
New England Patriots latest injury update:
Added to the mix is the quite staggering loss of running back Rhamondre Stevenson for this game, who suffered a foot injury against the Dolphins last time out.
As well as the loss of Stevenson, Jerod Mayo also has 11 players listed as questionable - cornerback Isaiah Bolden, wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, long snapper Joe Cardona, safety Kyle Dugger, linebacker Anfernee Jennings, cornerback Marcus Jones, centre Nick Leverett, wide receiver K.J. Osborn, guard Layden Robinson, linebacker Sione Takitaki and cornerback Marco Wilson.
The New England Patriots will host the Houston Texans on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 1 PM.
