Why isn’t Tank Bigsby playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Detroit Lions in Week 11?
The Jaguars star is set to miss out on the action as the two sides collide.
When the Jacksonville Jaguars go up against the Detroit Lions in Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season, they will have to do so without one of their most enigmatic players.
So far this season, the Jags have had a terrible time in the AFC South, winning just two games and losing a whopping eight; ahead of Week 11, they sit bottom of the four-team division.
What injury does Tank Bigsby have?
And their task, this time against the NFC North runaway leaders, the Detroit Lions, just got even greater as they will be without Tank Bigsby for the match.
Tank was offically ruled out by the Jaguars in the run up to the game, with a ankle injury set to keep him out of action.
Given the fact that the Jaguars are heavy underdogs for the tie and they have a bye in Week 12 of the season, rushing back a player only to potentially risk his fitness was not an option the team were willing to take.
To add injury to, er, injury, quarterback Trevor Lawrence was also ruled out by the Jaguars ahead of what was already an incredibly steep mountain to climb. Full of lions.
