The Jags starting cornerbackTyson Campbell will play no part in this Sunday’s game across the pond in London against the Bears. He’s been on injured reserve with a hamstring injury since Week 1 and while he managed to practice every one of the three days this week, he didn’t manage to get over the line to be activated for the Week 6 match up at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Montaric Brown will continue to cover for Campbell in his absence, but expect Campbell to be back for Week 7 against the Patriots.

Jaguars injury list

In other injury news, the Jags have a four players on the questionable list.

S Daniel Thomas (hamstring): Thomas has been a limited participant in practice this week after suffering a hamstring injury during a workout and missing the Week 5 win over the Colts (37-35). The special teams player has seen limited action on defense this season, playing just 30 defensive snaps.

WR Gabe Davis (knee): Davis has been dealing with a knee injury that has limited his practice time. In addition to his injury concerns, there are questions about his role in the offense following a sideline altercation with QB Trevor Lawrence and a fumble last week. Despite logging the most snaps among the Jaguars’ receivers, he has struggled to make an impact.

TE Evan Engram (hamstring): Engram’s practice participation has been limited for weeks due to a hamstring injury. While there is hope he could return against the Bears, he has yet to complete a full practice session since Week 2, leaving his availability in doubt until game day.

OLB Yasir Abdullah (neck): Abdullah missed last week’s game but has practiced on a limited basis all week. He has been contributing both on defense and special teams before the injury, and his return seems likely in the near future.

Bears injury situation ahead of Jags game

The Chicago Bears are facing several key injuries ahead of their upcoming game:

Out:

S Jaquan Brisker (concussion): Brisker is sidelined after failing to clear the concussion protocol. He did not practice or travel with the team to London, and Elijah Hicks is expected to start in his place.

DT Zacch Pickens (groin): Pickens, a third-round pick, also stayed back in Chicago and has played only limited snaps this season.

CB Terell Smith (hip): Primarily a special teams player, Smith did not make the trip due to a hip injury.

Doubtful:

CB Tyrique Stevenson (calf): After injuring his calf late in the week, Stevenson is unlikely to play. Jaylon Jones is expected to step in for him at cornerback.

Questionable:

LG Teven Jenkins (ankle): Jenkins had a mixed week of practice but returned on Friday. The team is hopeful he will play, depending on his pre-game condition.

DE Jacob Martin (toe): Currently on injured reserve, Martin practiced fully this week and could be activated soon, contributing both on defense and special teams.

These injuries could heavily impact the Bears’ secondary and offensive line, with multiple starters potentially missing the game.
