Estados Unidos Update:

The 2025 NFL season is about to begin, with the curtain-raiser set for Thursday, September 4, when the Philadelphia Eagles face the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.

Among the players attracting the most attention is Aaron Rodgers, who will debut as quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 7 against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. After months of speculation, he signed a one-year deal worth $13.65 million, including $10 million guaranteed.

Rodgers has nothing left to prove – the 41-year-old is a future Hall of Famer with 62,952 passing yards, 503 touchdowns and a Super Bowl XLV title to his name. Yet he is seeking redemption after his heavily criticized stint with the Jets.

Tom Brady pays tribute to Aaron Rodgers

Tom Brady believes Rodgers is the best quarterback the game has ever seen: “Aaron’s proven. He’s won a Super Bowl, many championship games. He’s a winner and I think what I’ve always appreciated about him, what everybody does, is his ability to throw a football and pass it…

“Aaron, in his prime, to me is the greatest passer of the football the league’s ever seen. He could get the ball from point A to B faster and more accurate than any player, I think, in the history of the NFL,” Brady said.
