Police in Dallas have issued a warrant for the arrest of Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller in connection with a suspected assault on a pregnant woman.

A product of Cajun country in south Louisiana, Jeff played football through high school, and baseball through college and beyond. The Dallas Police Department have issued a warrant for the arrest of two-time Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl MVP, Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller in connection with a suspected assault.

Originally stemming from a “major disturbance” on Wednesday, the DPD have said that the alleged victim, who is pregnant, and Miller argued at a private home. By the time officers arrived, Miller had already left the scene.

According to a police statement, the alleged victim was treated for minor injuries and was not transported to an area hospital.

The Bills have issued a statement acknowledging that they are aware of the incident and “are in the process of gathering more information”, stressing that they would have no further comment at this point.

Miller was selected number two overall out of Texas A&M by the Denver Broncos in the 2011 NFL draft, and has become an eight-time Pro Bowl and three-time first-team All-Pro superstar.
