Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been a talking topic all week as he has failed to participate in practice ahead of his side’s Week 18 clash in the 2024 NFL season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Sun Jan. 5, 1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT).
Kamara, 29, missed out on practice due to a groin injury. Darren Rizzi hasn’t given up on the star running back for Sunday’s game, “Alvin, we’re going to try to put him through some game-like situations in the morning to see if he can operate and function,” he said.
Saints injury report for Week 18
Derek Carr (left hand) and Kendre Miller (concussion) have been ruled out for the last week of the 2024 season. Kamara remains doubtful and the following players are questionable to play on Sunday. Alvin Kamara has also been ruled out for week 18 due to the season-ending groin injury.
