Will Kenneth Walker III play for the Seahawks against the Packers? NFL injury update
The Seattle Seahawks have some bad news regarding running back Kenneth Walker III as they prepare to face the Green Bay Packers tonight at Lumen Field.
Kenneth Walker III, who has been a dynamic force in the Seattle Seahawks’ backfield this season, has been ruled out of their game against the Green Bay Packers due to calf and ankle injuries. He was originally listed as doubtful after coach Mike McDonald said that he was unable to practice all week.
Last week, Walker was listed as questionable before finally being ruled out against the Arizona Cardinals. He has been a standout performer, rushing for 524 yards and seven touchdowns in 10 games this season. His ability to break tackles and make explosive plays has been a key component of the Seahawks’ offensive strategy.
Walker’s replacement
Last week, Zach Charbonnet filled in for Walker. It was his third time replacing him and his best one yet. Charbonnet rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries and added seven receptions (on seven targets) for 59 yards.
After that monster game, the Seahawks are sure start Charbonnet in Walker’s place again this week. The Packers have given up 11 rushing touchdowns this season. The game kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET tonight at Lumen Field.
