Mike Evans has been battling with an issue to his right hamstring since tweaking it during the Week 7 matchup against the Ravens.

It kept him out of the next three games (Falcons, Chiefs, 49ers) and while he returned in the recent wins over the Giants and the Panthers, he appears to have aggravated the injury.

Mike Evans listed with new injury

The Bucs didn’t hold a full practice on Wednesday. Todd Bowles took his players through a walkthrough in which Evans and five others were listed as non-participants. And curiously, the injury report confirmed that the wideout was also carrying a calf injury.

When practice resumed on Thursday, once again Evans did not participate. For now the player is listed as questionable although while he is carrying delicate muscular issues, it’s hard to see him being risked against the Raiders if there is a chance he could suffer something more serious such as a tear.

We’ll have to wait and see if he takes part on Friday although the veteran doesn’t usually need practice reps to be ready for game day.

Elsewhere, K.J. Britt (ankle), Mike Edwards (hamstring), Troy Hill (foot/knee), Bucky Irving (hip/back) and Tristan Wirfs (foot/knee) also sat out Thursday’s practice while Anthony Nelson, who is recovering from a shoulder problem was limited.

The NFL Week 14 game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Las Vegas Raiders will be played on Sunday December 8 2024 at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa with kick off at 1 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT.

The game will air live on CBS and can been streamed on Paramount+ and fuboTV (free trial available).
