The 2-4 Los Angeles Rams will host the 5-1 Minnesota Vikings at SoFi Stadium for Thursday Night Football tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET. The Rams have had a tough start to their season due to several injuries to some of their key offensive players, including star wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.

Nacua’s injury status for Week 8

Nacua suffered from a PCL sprain in the Rams' opening game against the Detroit Lions. He has not played in a game since. Kupp, who suffered from an ankle injury in Week 2, is finally expected to make his return tonight against the Vikings. Nacua, however, remains uncertain.

Currently, Nacua is listed as questionable for the Rams' Thursday night game. The Rams opened up his 21-day practice window on Tuesday, allowing him to practice while still being on Injured Reserve. He returned to practice as a limited participant in Monday and Tuesday’s walkthroughs and has been taken off IR.

Rams offensive coordinator Matt LeFleur said on Wednesday that Nacua’s status for tonight is “to be determined”.

“He hasn’t done anything full speed in forever, so lots to determine there,” said LeFleur.

Losing both Kupp and Nacua has been rough on the Rams, who now sit at 2-4 heading into Week 8. As a rookie last year, Nacua set NFL rookie records for receptions (105) and receiving yards (1,486), and added six touchdowns on the season.

If he‘s still unable to return to action tonight, then Nacua will likely make his return to the field in Week 9, when the Rams face the Seattle Seahawks on November 3.
