Will Taylor Swift attend the Lions vs Chiefs games in Kansas City on Sunday?
Rumours are swirling as to whether or not the singer will be at Arrowhead Stadium this weekend.
Just in case you haven’t seen enough of Taylor Swift over the past few weeks, given the fact that she’s been out of the spotlight, you might be thinking to tuning into the Chiefs game to catch a glimpse.
To be fair to her, after releasing her new album, she’s only been on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Graham Norton Show, and BBC Radio, among many others across the UK, which makes it reasonable to see so many Swifties wanting more.
At present, there’s no confirmed evidence that Taylor Swift will attend the Sunday night game at Arrowhead Stadium. NBC Insider notes that while she has made appearances at Chiefs games in the past, her 2025 season attendances have been more discrete, and no public confirmation has surfaced for this particular matchup.
Will Swift be at the Chiefs game against the Lions?
Despite her earlier high-profile appearances where Swift took media attention away from the game, she’s finally decided to tone it down a little, with her recent pattern suggesting she’s limiting appearances: Swift seems more selective this season about attending NFL games, especially away or neutral-site ones, which makes a sudden high-profile appearance less likely.
When she has attended, it’s often been quietly or in less obvious ways. For example, in the recent Chiefs vs. Ravens game, she reportedly attended, though not prominently photographed until later in the game.
The Kansas City Chiefs have had a somewhat shaky start, and their record stands at 2–3. Earlier in the season, they stumbled out of the gate, becoming one of the few defending powerhouse teams to lose three of their first five games.
Most recently, in Week 5, they dropped a close 31–28 contest to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Detroit Lions are up next, who have a 4-1 record so far in the league. Fans can catch the game — and Swift’s potential surprise — on Sunday, October 12 at 8:20 p.m. ET.
