Golf is once again back on the agenda for the Olympic Games, with both men’s and women’s competitions scheduled for Paris 2024. It’s a sport that had only previously been included in the iconic summer sporting extravaganza twice prior to 2016 in Brazil (over a hundred years of a gap until then) but returned in 2021 at the Tokyo Games and now in France.

The exact format continues, as players aim for the lowest score across four days of stroke play. The men’s event runs from 1-4 August, while the women take the limelight from 7-10 August. The final day sees the medals confirmed at Le Golf National in southern Paris, a course designed by architects Hubert Chesneau and Robert von Hagge.
