Musetti wins tennis bronze for Italy
Italy's Lorenzo Musetti has claimed bronze in the men's singles tennis tournament, beating Canada's Félix Auger-Aliassime 6-4, 1-6, 6-3.
WR as USA win mixed relay
Another gold for the USA in the pool: the Stars and Stripes have won the mixed 4x100m medley relay, in a world-record time of 3:37.43.
China finished second, with Australia completing the podium.
Ledecky the USA's golden girl
After winning her fourth straight 800m medley title, Katie Ledecky now has more Olympic gold medals than any other US female athlete in history.
Decathlon gold for Rooth
Norway's Markus Rooth has clinched gold in the men's decathlon, with a national-record score of 8796 points.
Germany's Leo Neugebauer claims silver, and bronze has gone to Grenada's Lindon Victor.
Alfred's historic win for St Lucia
Like LaFond's triple-jump gold, by the way, Julien Alfred's 100m win for St Lucia was her country's first ever medal at the Summer Games.

In track and field, Dominica's Thea LaFond has won the women's triple jump final, triumphing with a national-record leap of 15.02m.
That's Dominica's first ever Olympic medal.

Legendary Ledecky wins yet another 800m freestyle gold
The USA's Katie Ledecky has yet another gold medal: she has won the women's 800m freestyle for the fourth straight Games.
That takes Ledecky to nine career golds at the Olympics. Only fellow swimmer Michel Phelps, with a frankly ridiculous 23, has more.
Alfred takes gold in women's 100m
Julien Alfred has taken gold in the women's 100m final!
The St. Lucian wins in a national-record time of 10.72, ahead of the USA's Sha'Carri Richardson and Melissa Jedderson.
Gold for McIntosh in 200m medley
In the pool, Canada's Summer McIntosh has her third gold of the 2024 Olympics, after winning the women's 200m individual medley,
McIntosh, who was also triumphant in the 200m butterfly and 400m medley, beat Team USA's Kate Douglass into second, with Australia's Kaylee McKeown taking bronze.
Crouser the shot put king yet again
Team USA's Ryan Crouser has won the men's shot put gold for the third Olympics in succession!
Crouser secured a hat-trick of Olympic titles with a throw of 22.90m, with fellow American Joe Kovacs taking silver and Jamaica's Rajindra Campbell in third.
Gold spell continues for Hungary in the pool
Kristof Milak has secured his second medal of the Paris games, picking up a gold in the 100m butterfly.
It's Hungary's second gold in the pool.

Pommel horse gold for Irishman McClenaghan
In artistic gymnatics, Ireland's Rhys McClenaghan has won gold in the men's pommel horse event, finishing ahead of Kazahstan's Nariman Kurbanov and the USA's Stephen Nedoroscik.
Zheng Qinwen takes tennis gold
In tennis, China's Zheng Qinwen has won the women's singles final, beating Croatia's Donna Vekic in straight sets.
Zheng triumphed 6-2, 6-3 at Roland Garros.

Brilliant Biles in seventh heaven
Simone Biles has won the seventh Olympic gold of her gymnastics career, winning the women's individual vault final at Bercy Arena.
Brazil's Rebeca Andrade claimed silver, and the podium was completed by another American, Jade Carey, who took bronze.

Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan took the spoils in an all-Chinese women's badminton doubles final, beating compatriots Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning 22-20, 21-15.

China's Chen Meng successfully defended her title, beating teammate Sun Yingsha to win the women's table tennis singles final 4-2.
Hancock clinches fourth gold
Vincent Hancock won gold medals in Beijing, London and Tokyo and picked up his fourth in Paris, winning the men's skeet with a score of 58.
Carlos Edriel Yulo makes history
Carlos Edriel Yulo wins the men's floor to become just the second athlete from the Philippines to win a gold medal after weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz at Tokyp 2020.
Fritz and Paul in the medals
Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul took the bronze medal in the men's tennis doubles, beating Tomas Machac and Adam Pavlasek in straight sets.6-3 6-4.
Korea's Lim Si-hyeon does it again!
What an incredible summer for Lim Si-hyeon. The South Korean, who turned 21 in June, crowned her Olympic debut with a third gold medal - winning the women's individual gold medal match 7-3.
Earlier, she picked up gold in the team and mixed team events.
Reuveny gets Israel's first gold medal
Tom Reuveny pipped Grae Morris and Luuc van Opzeeland to take the men's windsurfing gold - Israel's first at Paris 2024.
