An Se Young has won her first Olympic medal - and it's gold one!
She secured the women's singles gold medal with a 21-13, 21-16 victory over China's He Bing Jiao. An's gold is the first medal of any color in this event for the Republic of Korea since 1996. He Bing Jiao's silver is also her first Olympic medal.
GOLD for China and Li Yuehong in the men's 25m rapid fire pistol
Shooting: Li Yuehong won his first Olympic title for the People's Republic of China in this event. Li finally gets the gold medal, after winning bronze at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.
The silver goes to Cho Yeongjae in what is the Republic of Korea's first-ever Olympic medal in the event, while the bronze goes to the other Chinese on the podium Wang Xinjie.
Alex Yee becomes most decorated Olympic triathlete in history
GOLD Germany, SILVER United States, BRONZE Great Britain
Germany won the gold medal. Laura Lindemann made an incredible comeback, overturning a 12-second deficit and winning a thrilling sprint finish. After a brief delay in analyzing the photo finish between Potter (GBR) and Knibb (USA), Team USA was awarded the silver medal, while Great Britain took the bronze.
This is Germany's first triathlon medal since 2008, and the incredible Jan Frodeno's win in the men's event. The USA won a back-to-back silver medal after finishing second in Tokyo 2020.
GOLD for Germany, bronze (it seems) for Team USA!
Germany are the Olympic champions in the mixed team relay in the triathlon!
A photo finish for second spot between Great Britain and the United States, and it seems as if the Brits have just pipped Team USA for a silver medal.
