Track and field events will be held between Thursday, August 1, and Sunday, August 11, during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The 77,083-seat Stade de France, the largest stadium in the country, will host the athletics portion of the 33rd Olympics.

Some of the central figures of the Team USA track and field roster at this year’s Paris Games, including Sha’Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles, will be pushing themselves to their limits in pursuit of a place atop the podium in a wide range of events and disciplines. The high standards and the history of excellence at the games precede the American athletes in these games like all in the past.

The United States governing athletics organization, USATF, has achieved notable financial success in the sports industry. In 2017, USATF reached a record annual budget of over $35 million. Additionally, in 2016, USATF introduced an innovative revenue distribution plan for elite athletes, providing substantial financial support to Team USATF athletes. In 2016, USATF also established a long-term broadcasting partnership with NBC Sports, ensuring consistent coverage on one of the leading Olympic sports networks in the world.
