When is the men’s Paris 2024 Olympics soccer final between Spain and France?

The Parc des Princes in Paris will play host to this hugely attractive encounter between two of the world’s best crops of young players.

After coming through against seemingly new bitter rivals Argentina, thoughts were that Egypt would be an easier team to knock aside for France en route to the 2024 Olympics soccer final. But when Mahmoud Saber fired home with just 30 minutes left in the second half, it was clear that this could be a disappointing night for the home team.

France and Spain clash in Olympics final

Fast-forward via an 83rd-minute equaliser from Jean-Philippe Mateta, an early extra-time red card for Egypt’s Fayed Omar, and two further French goals, Mateta again before Michael Olise, and our Olympic hosts were into the gold medal game.

Spain’s senior team are the recently crowned European Championship winners, and the younger generation had already booked their place in the Paris final after a 2-1 victory over Morocco, also having come from behind. It’s an appetising encounter, and one you’ll not want miss.

The gold medal match, France vs Spain, takes place on Friday, August 9, at the Parc des Princes in Paris. Kick off is scheduled for 6 p.m. local time, (12 noon ET). This game will be the 32nd in the competition, and the day before will see Egypt and Morocco battle it out for the bronze medal.
