The St Andrews Old Course, world’s oldest golf course, gets the nod again this year, marking its 30th time hosting the event. The “Home of golf” is also the home of the sport’s history, and some players will be looking to leave a legacy to their names this year, including the legendary Tiger Woods.

The three-time Open champion, who has been struggling with leg complications, isn’t sure if he’ll be able to continue playing professional golf, but is looking to have the best possible tournament at what he calls “the most historic championship we’ve ever had.”
The 46-year-old won championships at St. Andrews in 2000 and 2005, with his first success at the course coming as part of the “Tiger Slam” in 2000-01.
Woods gets supreme placement in Scotland as he tees off at 9:59 a.m. ET on Thursday, alongside Max Homa and Matthew Fitzpatrick, 2022 U.S. Open winner.
