From seasoned professionals to those trying to look the part, the annual tournament offers an interesting look at the rigors of golf and what it requires to truly be a top-notch player. Of course, the variety of options in the field also help to make it a truly entertaining event.

Welcome to the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

When the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tees off, we will have Tom Hoge defending his first and only PGA Tour victory in Northern California. Hoge of course, will trying to demonstrate his prowess across three different courses, which include Monterey Peninsula, Spyglass Hill and Pebble Beach. Also in the running, will be three-time major championship winner, Jordan Spieth, as well as Matt Fitzpatrick, Viktor Hovland, Maverick McNealy and Seamus Power. As things stand, the purse for the tournament is $9 million, with $1.62 million going to the winner.

If you didn’t know, Spieth is by far the most high-profile player in the field, meaning he will likely dominate the odds where bookmakers are concerned. A 13-time PGA Tour winner, Spieth is a shoe-in to take the honors in California, but it goes without saying that it won’t come easy. Alongside Spieth, there are a whole bunch of top tier talents - as we mentioned before - who will be gunning to clinch a major title, as well as a clutch of celebrities including the likes of Jake Owen, Gareth Bale, Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers and more.

2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: The Predicition

Though the focus is undoubtedly on Hoge, the reality is this tournament is all about Viktor Hovland. The Norwegian had a solid 2022 and quite frankly shows no signs of slowing down. While there is indeed justified noise about Spieth, the truth is experts have the Hovland to round to put paid to the course in California. With that, we’re going with a Vitor Hovland victory.
