2024 Black Desert Championship: Round 1 tee times, pairings and featured groups
We haven’t seen PGA Tour golf in Utah since the 1960s. The Black Desert resort will change that this week with their inaugural tournament.
Southern Utah’s Black Desert Resort will host a fall PGA Tour event, marking the first prestigious PGA Tour golf tournament in Utah in 60 years. Nestled in Ivins, just outside St. George, the resort offers breathtaking views and a challenging design.
Utah desires to become a hub for major sports events. With the potential expansion of the NHL into the state and hosting another Winter Olympics, this longing is now even more complete with the addition of this prominent golf tournament.
The 2024 Black Desert Championship will kick off this Thursday at the picturesque Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah. Golf enthusiasts can look forward to a thrilling event with a substantial $7.5 million purse. The tournament will unfold on the challenging par-71 course, stretching across 7,371 yards of stunning terrain.
