2024 BMW Championship: How much does it cost to play at Castle Pines Golf Club?

For the first time in ten years, the BMW returns to Colorado and Castle Pines is playing host to a PGA Tour event for the first time since 2006.

50 of the world’s top golfers teed off this morning at the 2024 BMW Championship and upon the conclusion of the final round of action on Sunday, the top 30 will progress to the final competition if the 2024 PGA Tour Championship.

For the first time in ten years, the BMW returns to Colorado and the Castle Pines course is playing host to a PGA Tour event for the first time since 2006. The course is 6,200 feet above sea level and is the longest course in PGA Tour history.

It was also the venue for The International from 1986-2006, having since undergone a full renovation that included new bunkers, rebuilt tees and greens and renovated water features.

Scottie Scheffler is the firm favourite ahead of the BMW Championship leading the standings for the third consecutive year with the American winning several signature events, the Masters, The Players and the Olympic gold medal in 2024.

Playing at Castle Pines

For any golf aficionados tuning into the BMW Championship and wondering would it would be like to play on the Colorado course, the first step is the need for deep pockets and have good contacts.

According to a survey last year, Castle Pines Golf membership costs approximately $75,000 to $150,000, with $797 monthly rates. The price is comparatively high to what it was back in 2019 when the membership was for only $21,000 plus $720 in monthly dues without any wait.

The Colorado club (just a 30 minute drive from downtown Denver) is known for its world-class course and exclusivity with membership at Castle Pines highly exclusive and by invitation only.

The return to the course of the BMW Championship for the first time in a decade will only serve to boost the courses profile and add interest to any would-be new members looking to sign-up.
