2024 Wyndham Championship: Round 1 Friday tee times, groupings, featured groups

After being delayed from its planned Thursday start due to adverse weather conditions in Greensboro, North Carolina, the 2024 Wyndham Championship is now scheduled to begin at 9:50am ET on Friday morning.

The PGA Tour said early on Friday that Storm Debby, which has buffeted Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina since hitting the US earlier this week, continues to move north and will “accelerate away from the region”, with “drier conditions” set to return at Sedgefield Country Club.

It remains unclear whether the delayed Wyndham Championship will be shortened to ensure it concludes on time - the event is due to run until Sunday August 11 - or whether the tournament’s four-round format will be retained in exchange for a later finish.
