TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota isn’t your average neighborhood golf course. This Arnold Palmer-designed track, carved out of an old sod farm with Tom Lehman’s input, now plays host to the PGA Tour’s 3M Open. It’s packed with elevated greens, 27 water hazards, and a sandy, beach-style bunker that laughs at your short game. It’s gorgeous. It’s tough. And it’s private.

How can I play at TPC Twin Cities?
I tried to find out what it takes to join – because short of being invited by a member, that’s your only shot at playing it. According to multiple reports (including Golf Monthly), initiation fees range from $10,000 to $30,000, depending on the category – family, corporate, social, non-resident. Monthly dues sit between $300 and $600, which sounds manageable until you add it up over a year or three.
There’s no menu of prices on the TPC Twin Cities website, so instead you have to fill out an inquiry form. I’ve not hit send, yet. If you’re serious about joining, though, you’ll need to bring more than a smooth swing. You’ll need a decent checkbook.
