A prize purse of just under $9 million is up for grabs at the 2024 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, which began today at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, Louisiana.
How much will the Zurich Classic of New Orleans winners receive?
According to the PGA Tour’s official breakdown of the Zurich Classic’s prize fund, the winners of the tournament - which involves 80 two-mean teams - will be paid a little over $1.286 million each.
That represents a per-player increase of almost $50,000 on 2023′s prize payout, which saw champions Nick Hardy and Davis Riley receive $1.242m each.
The runners-up at 2024′s Zurich Classic will both bank $525,100, with the third-placed finishers in line to pocket $343,762 apiece.

Who are favourites to win the Zurich Classic of New Orleans? Betting odds
Winners of the event in 2022, Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay - world Nos. 5 and 8, respectively - headed to Avondale as favourites. Schauffele and Cantlay were valued at +400 for victory, according to betting figures offered by the PGA.
They were followed by Shane Lowry and world No. 2 Rory McIlory, who were priced at +750. Despite being defending champions, Hardy and Riley are back at +5000.
