Update:

Sepp Straka takes a four-shot lead into the final round of the American Express tournament in La Quinta, where a nearly $9 million prize purse is on the line.

Straka finished day three on 23 under par on Saturday, with three men leading the chasing pack on 19 under: Charley Hoffman, Jason Day and Justin Lower.

What was the cut line at the American Express?

Among the major names to miss the nine-under cut at the end of the third round were the pre-tournament favorite, Sungjae Im, and the events highest-ranked player, Wyndham Clark.

While the first three rounds of the American Express were played on three courses - La Quinta Country Club, and PGA West’s Pete Dye Stadium Course and Nicklaus Tournament Course - Sunday’s final round will take place solely on the Stadium Course.
