Alcaraz admits obsession with Djokovic
Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz spoke about his battle with the Serbian that motivates him to go for number one.
Carlos Alcaraz is already at the Shanghai Masters 1000 with a clear objective for the remainder of the season: to finish the year as number one in the world, a place he already occupied in 2022.
Djokovic always on the mind of Alcaraz
The Spanish star, in an interview with Tennis TV, did not hesitate to reveal his greatest motivation to reach the top of the world ranking, when asked how much Novak Djokovic was on his mind.
“Almost in every practice, I’m not going to lie. I practice with a goal, I go to the tournaments with a goal, trying to end the year as number one.”

Alcaraz was very sincere about his battle with the Serbian record breaker stating that he needs to continue practicing at his best if he is to surpass him in the rankings.
