Canelo crashes in the pound-for-pound rankings after Crawford loss
After Terence Crawford defeated Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez at Allegiant Stadium, the Mexican’s ranking has plummeted.

Last weekend brought one of the biggest shocks in the boxing world: Terence Crawford defeated Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. With the victory, the American seized the 168-pound titles from the Mexican star, who had been the undisputed champion of the division.
Netflix later revealed the streaming figures, reporting more than 41 million total views, including 24 million simultaneous streams in the United States alone.
Just days after the fight, Ring Magazine released its updated pound-for-pound rankings, placing Crawford at the top. Meanwhile, Canelo dropped down to tenth place.
