Former England star striker Gary Lineker likened the Spanish tennis player to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Carlos Alcaraz continues to amaze the Wimbledon crowd in 2023 after his victory over Holger Rune in the tournament’s quarterfinals. On Friday he faces Daniil Medvedev in the semifinals, his last hurdle before a possible final against, more than likely, Novak Djokovic. The Serbian has gone more than 2,000 days without defeat here.

Lineker’s high praise for Alcaraz
Alcaraz, who has had the audience in Center Court of the All England Club on their feet as they admire his repertoire, from big drives to subtle flicks, and his performance against Rune drew praise from other prominent figures in sport.
