Update:

Ben Griffin and Matti Schmid have shared the lead after each round at the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge, and they’ll tee it up together one last time on Sunday – with a four-shot cushion and history within reach.

Both carded 2-under 68s in Saturday’s third round at Colonial Country Club, keeping them at 13-under overall. One has a chance at a first solo PGA Tour win. The other is looking for his first win of any kind.

Rickie Fowler, who shot 67 to reach 9 under, joins the pair in the final group – and the experienced campaigner has made it clear he plans to chase them down.

Can Scottie Scheffler pull off the comeback?

Scottie Scheffler, the world No. 1 and winner of last week’s PGA Championship, surged back into contention with a Saturday 64. He’s at 7 under and playing in Sunday’s penultimate group. He’ll need more of the same – and fewer bogeys – to run down the leaders.

Other names to watch:

Robert MacIntyre, Nick Hardy, and Akshay Bhatia sit at 8 under and could contend if the leaders stall. Lucas Glover matched Scheffler’s 64 on Saturday to join the group at 6 under, where Ryo Hisatsune and John Pak also sit after slipping back in Round 3.
