Check out Terence Crawford’s boxing record: stats, KOs, wins and loses
The Omaha-born fighter is undefeated in 41 bouts and now seeks to become undisputed champion in a third weight class.

The boxing world will come to a standstill this Saturday, September 13. Canelo Álvarez will defend his undisputed 168-pound crown against Terence Crawford. The American is aiming to become the first fighter of his era to hold every belt in a third weight class since turning professional.
Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Crawford has dominated every division he has entered. He remains unbeaten after 41 fights, from lightweight to super welterweight. Since his professional debut in 2008, he has knocked out 31 of his 41 opponents.

The most important fights of Terence Crawford’s career
Some of his defining nights came in 2017, when he unified the entire super lightweight division against Julius Indongo, and in July 2023, when he stopped Errol Spence Jr. to become the undisputed welterweight champion. Both victories came by knockout, though the latter stood out for the way Crawford dismantled a rival many expected to push him to the limit.
Crawford also has a habit of defeating Olympic gold medalists. In June 2014, he knocked out Athens 2004 champion Yuriorkis Gamboa, and in 2017, he stopped Beijing 2008 winner Felix Díaz. Perhaps that is how he made peace with missing out on competing in Beijing himself.
Now, at 37, “Bud” is preparing for the biggest fight of his career. If he beats Álvarez, he will become the undisputed champion at 168 pounds, adding that to his achievements at super lightweight and welterweight. It is a daunting task – but in boxing, surprises are always possible.
