Conor McGregor hasn’t been able to throw punches and kicks in the octagon for a long time, but he has kept ‘fighting’ with his posts on social media.

The former double UFC champion, recently a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) part owner, has had plenty of confrontations with many UFC fighters since his inactivity period.

Michael Chandler, Ilia Topuria, Islam Makhachev, and more recently Sean O’Malley have been some of the names the Irishman has addressed on social media, especially on his X account, to attack or mock them.

Why did McGregor attack Trump and what did he say?

McGregor, who is expected to finally take on Chandler at the end of 2024 in a very anticipated super fight, usually doesn’t hold back when he takes on social media to write posts, especially when exchanging some online blows.

McGregor’s last ‘victim’ is former US president Donald Trump. The charismatic UFC star exploded against the presidential nominee after he said Khabib Nurmagomedov was his favorite fighter in an interview with streamer Adin Ross.

In a series of posts, McGregor said Trump’s answer was “shocking” and stated it was a “campaign-ending decision” that “won’t go unnoticed on the [UFC] roster,”.

He also expressed the former Republican nominee should have chosen an American fighter rather than the former undefeated Dagestani lightweight champion.
