The CrossFit Games are at the final stage of their gruelling schedule and with Day 4 on the way, here’s the latest.

The 2024 edition of this endurance tournament will forever be marked by the tragic loss of Lazar Dukic, who died during the swimming stage of events on Day 1. However, despite the death of the athlete, the Games announced that “the only cure for grief is to grieve, and the best way to grieve is together”, before saying that they “have decided to move forward with the 2024 CrossFit Games”.

Since then, we’ve seen some stellar performances from those involved, with the dry weather and scorching heat playing a role in proceedings.

As things stand, it’s Canada’s Brent Fikowski who is top of the men’s table as we go into Day 4, with 583 points in total. He was second in the push pull 2.0 and his other results across the board have been incredibly consistent - the key to staying afloat in such a tough battle.

James Sprague of the US drops into second after coming 21st and 17th in the clean ladder and push pull 2.0 respectively, results which just aren’t good enough to keep him top of the pile. Right up his tail sits Roman Khrennikov, who came third in both the track and field and chad to close the gap and make the final podium spot.
