Energy drink feud sees Logan Paul challenge Lionel Messi to a boxing match
The 29-year-old influencer and YouTube star has laid down the gauntlet and offered a peculiar challenge to the Inter Miami striker.

It’s never a dull moment for the Paul brothers as they continue to give people something to talk about. Recently Jake took Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez to task after the cancellation of their scheduled fight with brother Logan singling out soccer star Lionel Messi as the next high profile sportsman he wants to challenge in the boxing ring.
Logan Paul claims that Lionel Messi and his Mas+ energy drink have plagiarized the concept of a hydrating drink after he launched ‘Prime’ which hit the shelves a few years back proving to be an international hit.
Paul claims that the Argentine copied the concept of ‘Prime’, which has led the YouTube star to take legal action and file a lawsuit for plagiarism.

The case continues to be analyzed in the United States, where the legal team of Logan Paul and KSI filed a countersuit against the Argentine beverage brand, claiming that the presentation is considered plagiarism because it is similar and misleading to the general public.
In a recent TikTok video, Logan, the eldest of the Paul brothers invited Messi to fight in a boxing match, assuring that if the Argentine Inter Miami star accepts the fight, he will withdraw the lawsuit.
Logan Paul’s TikTok challenge
“You guys copied us and everybody saw it. Your drinks look exactly like Prime, identical, and then you sued us, that’s not fair. That’s why we countersued, obviously we were going to. If you can’t beat the best, you have to be the best, but that’s illegal, that’s our design and we’re defending ourselves,” Paul stated in the video.
“I swear I would consider dropping the lawsuit, only if… a Logan Paul vs Messi fight takes place. See you in the ring, bro,” Paul added.
At the time of writing, Messi has yet to reply to the challenge with the legal case between both sides continuing.
